On Thursday we moved in to our new house, which has more room than our house in San Diego. We really love it, but the moving process is not all that fun. The movers, like always, did a great job from 9:30am-12. After lunch it went slowly down hill. By 4 pm they wanted Terrence to sign the papers, which means they are done, when most of the stuff had still not been assembled. Terrence refused to sign the papers, so the guys decided to get their butts in gear and put the rest of our stuff together. So far it looks like only 2 things have been broken. We are praying that our flat screen TV works, bc the CA movers packed it on the bottom. Yup, under a couch, table and other heavy items. Good Job Movers!!! The good thing is anything that is broken has to be replaced by the Navy. After the movers left, Terrence and I ran to a small navy exchange (store) that is located 1/4 mile from our house. We then went home and had PB&J and beef jerky with a glass of red wine. Great dinner after a long day!
Today, Terrence had a bunch of Navy stuff to do, so Kai and I stayed home and tried to unpack. Kai didn't think unpacking was as important as eating every 2 hours, so we did that instead. I am pretty sure he is going through his 3 month growth spurt, bc he has been super hungry. The good thing is that this afternoon he has been a very good boy and allowed us to go grocery shopping and to the library to use the internet!
